Featuring diverse series of original works on paper, Foreign Languages presents an extended poetic meditation on the interrelatedness of language, botanical life, and human acts of translation.

From Meadows Woodlands Far and Near, Sunshine Coast Arts Council, Sechelt, BC
Featuring 4 completed 10 meter vertical Lone Valley Herbarium scrolls that document wild herbaceous flora from my German place of origin. My gratitude goes to botanist Dr. Hermann Muhle, Herbarium of University Ulm, who collected and botanized 175 plants for this project (completed between 2011-2021).
