Layers of richly textured hand-printed images and scripted words feature strongly in Brigitte Potter-Mael’s work. They often merge or exist separately to reference the natural sciences and/or philosophical reflections.

Brigitte graduated from Concordia University Montreal in 1983. She has recently set up a print studio in the south of Italy and now lives and works between Vancouver and Europe. 

Her works can be found in various public and private collections in Canada and abroad.
